The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales of alternative investment products, promoting the company's marketplace menu, and providing expert guidance on the benefits of alternative investments to advisors and clients. This role involves regular travel within the coverage territory, attending industry events, and leveraging a consultative sales process to meet client needs. The Director will also be expected to stay well-informed about the company's diverse offering menu, lead the new manager roll-out process, and work closely with asset management partners to support capital-raising efforts. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a client-facing role within the alternative investment industry, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The role requires the ability to sell and support a range of alternative investment products, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings. A Series 7 and 63 licenses are mandatory, and the candidate must be willing to obtain a CAIA within three years of hire. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a sales pipeline, leading CRM efforts, and be committed to a rigorous sales process.
