[Remote] Rebate Analyst (Newly created Pharmacy Technology)

As a Rebate Analyst, you will manage and analyze complex rebate programs, ensuring financial strength and operational excellence while collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance rebate workflows and maintain compliance. Responsibilities • Support the end-to-end rebate process — including manufacturer contract setup, claim-level validation, submission accuracy, and payment reconciliation. • Analyze rebate performance trends, forecast accruals, and generate insights to support finance, contracting, and client management teams. • Ensure precision in rebate calculations and submissions by verifying formulary alignment, claim-level eligibility, and contractual terms. • Partner with Finance, Account Management, Contracting, and IT to ensure timely and accurate rebate invoicing, reporting, and client deliverables. • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and enhance rebate workflows using data analytics and technology-driven tools. • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external reviews to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to contractual obligations. • Stay current on PBM and pharmaceutical industry trends, rebate structures, and regulatory updates to help shape strategy and maintain a competitive edge. Skills • Must have experience and proficiency with SQL • 2–5 years of experience in rebate operations, financial analysis, or pricing within a PBM, health plan, or pharmaceutical environment. • Familiarity with rebate contracts, formulary management, and manufacturer payment processes. • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail. • Ability to interpret complex contracts and financial terms. • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with claims data and financial systems a plus. • Self-starter with a process-improvement mindset and curiosity to challenge 'the way it’s always been done.' • Experience with data analytics tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar) highly preferred. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field required.
