Sr. Epic Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst (Remote)

About the position Responsibilities • Support, configure, optimize, and maintain Epic revenue cycle management applications. • Ensure efficient and effective revenue cycle management workflows. • Focus on charge capture, compliance, privacy and security, and adherence to best practices. • Work closely with revenue cycle stakeholders, IT services, and operational leaders. • Gather requirements, analyze needs, design solutions, and support ongoing enhancements. • Promote new features and functionality to reduce manual efforts. • Support a friction-less experience for clinicians, medical staff, and patients. • Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior Epic analysts. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent (8 years) in experience in healthcare IT field. • Current Epic certification in two or more revenue cycle applications or advanced Epic certification required. • Professional certifications from organizations such as HFMA (e.g., CRCR, CHFP) and AHIMA (e.g., RHIA, CCS) preferred. • Minimum 5 - 8 years' experience with Epic or other EHR administration. • Knowledge of related systems, understanding of HL7, interoperability concepts and healthcare IT concepts. • Strong understanding of healthcare operations including administrative and clinical functions.
