HR Consultant / HR Manager (Part-Time → Potential Full-Time
We are looking for a seasoned HR Consultant/HR Manager to become our trusted HR partner. This role will begin on a part-time consulting basis and may evolve into a larger, ongoing engagement or a full-time HR leadership position.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building HR processes from the ground up, working closely with leadership, and forming a long-term working relationship as the company grows.
Initial Responsibilities Include:
• Advising leadership on sensitive employee relations matters
• Reviewing and guiding responses to conduct issues or workplace conflict
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal employment regulations
• Supporting documentation, corrective action, and policy interpretation
• Helping create or refine HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
• Coaching managers and improving communication processes
• Providing ongoing HR support as needed
Long-Term Responsibilities May Include:
• Establishing ongoing HR structure for the company
• Handling recruiting, onboarding, and training programs
• Developing company culture initiatives
• Managing performance reviews and employee development
• Becoming the primary HR contact as the organization expands
What We’re Looking For:
• 5–10+ years of HR experience (generalist, employee relations, or HR manager level)
• Experience working with small to mid-sized businesses
• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and documentation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive matters neutrally and professionally
• Someone looking to build a long-term partnership with leadership
• Comfortable working independently and providing strategic guidance
Compensation:
Hourly or retainer-based consulting arrangement to start. Increased hours or full-time role possible as needs grow.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
