Job Summary We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist - Business Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Computerized Innovation team, you'll be responsible for analyzing complex business problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing data-driven solutions using machine learning, AI, and data analytics. Your primary focus will be on applying advanced analytical techniques to drive business outcomes and inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data-driven solutions to business problems using machine learning, AI, and data analytics Develop and demonstrate advanced analytical methods and models to drive business outcomes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations Develop and maintain complex data models and algorithms Communicate complex quantitative analysis and results to non-technical stakeholders Work with database querying tools and write complex queries and procedures using Teradata SQL or Microsoft TSQL Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in AI, machine learning, and data analytics Requirements Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science) At least 2 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field Strong proficiency in programming languages like R or Python Experience working with large datasets and complex data analysis Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, clustering) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science) Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Teradata, MySQL) Experience with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) Certification in data science, machine learning, or a related field What We Offer At United Airlines, we offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Health insurance Parental leave Travel privileges Employee recognition programs Opportunities for career growth and professional development Work Environment and Culture Our team is distributed across the globe, and we offer flexible work arrangements, including remote work options.
