Derivatives Sr. Business Analyst
About the position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with in-house technology teams using Agile methodology to deliver new or enhanced system capabilities.
• Analyze and document requirements, business process flows, and data flows.
• Maintain the system backlog and prioritize system development and feature backlog with detailed specifications.
• Mitigate roadblocks to achieve sprint/release goals.
• Coordinate between business and IT for system maintenance and support efforts.
• Monitor system performance and operations for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with business areas to execute system-related business processes such as portfolio onboarding, administration, and data management.
• Build subject-matter expertise in derivatives and all pre and post-execution processes and systems related to derivatives.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of derivatives.
• Proficiency in Agile methodology.
• Experience in business process and data flow analysis.
• System integration experience.
• Stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or IT-related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in Risk, IT, Trading, Derivatives, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of systems, data, and business process integrations between corporate functions in investments, risk, finance, or actuarial.
• Experience with systems such as Finastra, Calypso, Murex, Neoxam, Golden Source, Markit EDM, ePAM, or similar.
