Position: Part-Time Virtual Teacher Grade Levels: 2nd–9th+ Location: Remote (Work from home!) Start Date: Immediate Compensation: Competitive hourly pay About the Role As a Virtual Teacher with Spark Learning Pals, you will lead engaging online classes and small-group learning pods designed to support diverse learners. We specialize in hands-on, interactive, and student-centered instruction. If you love connecting with students, designing fun learning experiences, and supporting homeschool families, this is the perfect position for you! What You’ll Do • Teach live virtual classes and/or learning pods for grades 2–9+ • Provide clear, supportive instruction tailored to different learning needs • Build rapport with students and encourage a positive, welcoming class environment • Plan engaging lessons (we also provide curriculum tools and support!) • Communicate with families and support student progress • Collaborate with a friendly, supportive team of educators What We Offer • Competitive pay • Flexible scheduling • Teach from the comfort of your home • Supportive teacher community • Opportunity to design creative lessons • Amazing homeschool students from all over the world • Training + shadowing opportunities for new team members Ideal Candidate We’re looking for teachers who are: • Passionate about helping students learn and grow • Reliable, warm, and engaging • Comfortable teaching online • Experienced with elementary and/or middle school learners • Creative with lesson planning (or excited to use our AI lesson creator!) • Friendly, positive, and student-centered Bonus points for: Experience with neurodiverse learners (dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD, dyscalculia), Orton-Gillingham, project-based learning, or enrichment classes.
