About the position The SAP Program Manager - Associate Director at Cognizant is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the Managed Services Delivery team. This role involves ensuring alignment of projects with organizational goals, managing client relationships, and overseeing the delivery of enhancement projects. The position requires collaboration with various teams to optimize project methodologies and ensure successful project outcomes, while also focusing on team development and performance metrics. Responsibilities • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Managed Services Delivery team. • Ensure alignment of projects with the organization's goals and objectives. • Partner with client business IT to deliver successful enhancement projects. • Build and cultivate client relationships to enhance service delivery. • Establish project performance metrics and track project progress. • Optimize and evolve managed services methodologies and standard processes. • Facilitate collaboration with client AMS team and vendors for project delivery. • Support or lead client managed service proposals and contract negotiations. • Recruit, develop, and mentor project management professionals. • Set clear expectations of performance and provide ongoing coaching. Requirements • 15 years SAP Delivery experience with broad IT exposure. • 5 years of experience directly supervising a team. • Experience leading large and small scale production support and business enhancements. • Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable. Nice-to-haves • Experience in SAP ISU or Utility Market experience is a plus.
