Senior Presentation Designer for Biotech & Pharma Projects

Onward Search is hiring a Senior Presentation Designer to support a design firm that works with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. This is a fully remote, part-time/project-based role. In this position, you’ll join the Marketing team to design and refine high-quality PowerPoint presentations for highly technical biotech and pharma content. This role requires both visual storytelling expertise and the ability to maintain scientific accuracy, with occasional project management responsibilities tied to specific deliverables. Responsibilities: • Own and manage assigned presentation projects end-to-end, combining deck production with light project management for those specific deliverables. • Design and refine high-quality PowerPoint presentations for highly technical biotech/pharma content, ensuring scientific accuracy and polished visual storytelling. • Coordinate with production designers on large decks—delegating slide builds as needed while keeping quality, structure, and timelines on track. Qualifications: • Advanced PowerPoint expertise on PC, including strong command of templates, themes, and master slides (PPTX/POTX); able to troubleshoot cross-platform formatting issues. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, to recreate/clean complex scientific charts and technical graphics. • Experience in the pharma, healthcare or biotechnology industries. • Must be able to take on freelance, project-based availability with flexibility for fast turnarounds and fluctuating workload demands.
