About the position
Responsibilities
• Leads, plans, and manage scope for multiple client engagements, ensuring quality, cost and delivery requirements are achieved; structures deliverable content and develops recommendations.
• Leads external client meetings and manages overall service delivery and strategy.
• Maintains a focus towards expanding delivery of existing services within the portfolio, working with key partners to ensure evolving solutions requirements are achieved.
• Identifies, escalates, and resolves client engagement issues and risks as needed.
• Documents and communicates associate performance feedback; mentors staff.
• Own delivery and development of content for client status meetings and milestone presentations.
• Support solution sales team with delivery and development of client presentations and proposals for sales pipeline.
• Identifies and/or develops service add-on opportunities within existing clients to more fully meet client needs and expectations.
• Builds trusting relationships with clients and key internal and external business partners.
• Contributes to new and or enhanced methods, approaches and tools for delivering on existing solutions in a more efficient and effective manner.
• Contributes to publications and leads speaking engagements that build awareness of services to the broader market.
• Actively supports Cencora recruiting efforts.
• Provide clear and concise recommendations to internal and external clients under tight deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities or data.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements
• An advanced degree is required, such as a PharmD, MBA, MHA, or MS.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a hospital or health system setting, with at least 3 years in a managerial, director, or strategy role, or a minimum of 5-8 years in a supervisory or project lead consulting role, ideally within the healthcare sector.
• Relevant experience and/or certification in Lean Six Sigma, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
Nice-to-haves
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of problem solving, performance improvement, process implementation, and change management.
• Deep understanding of pharmacy financials and accounting highly desirable, including pharmacy purchasing optimization.
• Ability to manipulate data in Excel and build branded client-facing business presentations.
• Experience developing and implementing pharmacy programs which provide clinical or financial benefit to the client institution.
