Professional Development Specialist, Contract, Part-Time
Job Description:
• Design and deliver bespoke online training sessions for high school science teachers
• Create detailed Alignment Documents that map the school's Scope and Sequence directly to the relevant units, lessons, and resources within Kognity
• Conduct onboarding and training sessions for new teachers and schools to ensure a smooth transition and successful platform adoption
• Create and maintain user-friendly support materials, such as learning resources
• Run engaging virtual professional development on transforming and improving science teaching and learning
• Develop a deep understanding of Kognity’s platform and how it supports learning outcomes
• Collect user feedback and use data to improve future sessions
Requirements:
• Experience teaching high school science - this is essential
• Experience delivering engaging virtual training
• Fluency in English
• Comfortable using Zoom and Google Workspace
• Great time management and organisational skills
• A passion for digital teaching and learning
