As Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks focused on lead generation, content development, and sales enablement to drive new business with employers seeking educational and training solutions. This position will support B2B sales efforts by assisting in the development and management of marketing campaigns; conceptualizing and writing of lead gen content; analyzing the effectiveness of marketing activities; preparing reports and helping maintain our lead database. Essential Job Functions: A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred 2-3 years of experience in a B2B marketing role is preferred, lead gen experiences a plus Excellent written and verbal communication, copy writing skills Project and campaign management experience Detail oriented and strong organizational skills Data driven decision making Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, often under tight deadlines Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment Experience with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, etc.) and CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Implementing marketing campaigns and supporting lead gen efforts by developing and promoting emails & landing pages, creating lead nurture campaigns, and constantly A/B testing to optimize performance Brainstorming, writing, and editing lead gen and thought leadership content pieces including ebooks, how-to guides, white papers, and industry reports Planning, organizing, promoting and executing industry tradeshows, webinars, events and speaking engagements Developing sales and marketing materials, including decks, brochures, and testimonials; help to evolve message, become expert in business area to understand needs and challenges Copy writing for website content; ensure website is on-message and updated with new content for your division Support regular reporting on marketing results; analyzing effectiveness of various marketing channels and make strategic recommendations based on trends Writing new blog & social posts; developing ideas for content offers to drive leads Creating audience segments and developing marketing campaigns that deliver a targeted message and create affinity with brands Detail-oriented and knowledgeable within Data Analysis with experience carrying out in-depth research, evaluating and improving marketing Equal Employment Opportunity: At Penn Foster we are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
