Head of Intellectual Property

We’re looking for a highly experienced and creative Head of Intellectual Property to lead our IP team at Dropbox. In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing and protecting Dropbox’s intellectual property and developing our IP portfolio.To be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience in IP law, with a demonstrated track record of successfully developing and implementing IP strategies. You should be a creative problem solver with excellent communication and organizational skills, and an eye for detail. Responsibilities: Lead, develop, and manage the IP team at Dropbox. Strategize and protect Dropbox’s intellectual property. Develop and implement IP strategies. Analyze legal documents and conduct research to ensure compliance with IP laws. Monitor the IP portfolio and create guidelines for its management. Negotiate and execute IP-related agreements and contracts. Advise on IP-related legal matters. Monitor and report on competitor IP activity. Prepare and file legal documents related to IP protection.
