About the position
Responsibilities
• Define and execute aprehensive eCommerce platform strategy aligned withpany growth objectives and the broader digital roadmap
• Lead omnichannel and mobile-first initiatives to optimize conversion, retention, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee platform architecture, integrations, and system reliability to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing experiences.
• Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies such as headlessmerce, APIs, and AI-driven personalization and data analytics to enhance user experience and drive business results.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team to foster collaboration and accountability.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to optimize value and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless end-to-end digital experiences and consistent brand execution.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to optimize value, service quality, and performance oues.
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure platform performance, customer behavior, and ROI, providing insights that inform strategic decisions.
• Stay current with industry trends andpetitive landscape to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce technology leadership or digital platform management
• 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience leading enterprise grade eCommerce implementations (Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or similar)
• Strong track record managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration between technical and business functions.
• Deep understanding of headlessmerce, API-driven development, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Hands-on knowledge of integrations with ERP, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and agile methodologies.
Nice-to-haves
• Master's degree or MBA preferred
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Agile, or eCommerce systems preferred
