As the lines between TV, digital, and commerce continue to blur, Strategus is expanding into the next generation of performance-driven verticals and we're looking for a market builder to lead the way. About The Role We're seeking a Director of Sales & Market Development to join the Sales Leadership Team and drive revenue growth by opening and scaling new markets. This is a revenue-generating leadership role responsible for identifying, testing, and scaling opportunities across emerging verticals such as ecommerce, retail media, and CPG. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in performance marketing strategies leveraging CTV and the ability to translate complex attribution and data strategies into ROI-driven sales outcomes. You'll combine hands-on deal execution with strategic market development creating playbooks that define how Strategus wins in new categories. What You'll Do • Open and Scale New Markets - Lead Strategus' expansion into high-growth verticals where performance CTV aligns with measurable marketing goals. • Drive Revenue Growth - Own sales execution from prospecting to close within emerging verticals, establishing the first wave of scalable clients. • Build GTM Strategies - Develop go-to-market frameworks that define positioning, value propositions, and playbooks for new verticals. • Collaborate Across Teams - Partner with Product, Marketing, and Enablement to refine offerings, ensure product-market fit, and operationalize scalable models. • Lead with Insights - Serve as a thought leader in performance CTV and emerging adtech trends, representing Strategus at industry events and panels. • Contribute to Sales Leadership - Provide visibility, frameworks, and learnings from new market development to inform broader sales strategy and enablement. You'll Measure Success By • Revenue growth and client acquisition within new verticals • Established GTM frameworks and scalable sales processes • Market entry milestones and category adoption rates • Vertical-specific case studies and ROI proof points • Strategic contribution to overall company growth What We're Looking For • 8-10 years of experience in digital advertising, adtech, or performance marketing • Proven ability to launch or scale new market segments or business lines • Strong understanding of CTV, data-driven targeting, and attribution modeling • Hands-on experience with Media Mix Models (MMM) and using data to guide marketing spend and optimize performance outcomes • Background in developing and growing revenue within retail media networks and ecommerce ecosystems • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently while collaborating cross-functionally • Excellent communicator and storyteller with a track record of translating insights into ROI-driven strategies Strategus is an equal-opportunity employer.
