[Remote] Staff Software Engineer, Mobile UX

As a Staff Mobile Engineer, you will lead the design and development of mobile features, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other engineers to enhance the mobile experience.
Responsibilities
• Lead the design and development of high-impact mobile features.
• Define scalable architecture, improve performance, and ensure reliability across iOS and Android.
• Own long-term technical decisions and implement best practices for testing, CI/CD, and mobile performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across teams, reviewing designs, sharing best practices, and developing future mobile leaders.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams to shape roadmaps, balance trade-offs, and ensure a cohesive mobile strategy.
• Leverage native iOS/Android expertise to resolve advanced platform issues, integrate custom modules, and deliver a first-class experience.
Skills
• 8+ years building and scaling mobile applications, with substantial hands-on work in React Native or native development.
• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript, mobile architecture, performance tuning, and native module integration.
• Proven track record of leading initiatives, shaping architecture, and mentoring engineers through influence and collaboration.
• Pragmatic yet ambitious, system-oriented, and motivated by solving complex challenges. You lead by example, elevate those around you, and care deeply about exceptional mobile experiences.
