What Does the Internship Program Offer?
Successful candidates will spend 6 months working with our teams. You will be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday, October 3rd, and ends Friday, March 31st, 2023. This is a remote internship opportunity.

Job description
GED Testing Service is seeking a graphic design intern to support the marketing team's initiatives with graphic design requests. Requires strong working knowledge of graphic-design equipment, tools, and techniques; and attention to detail and timelines. Must have a portfolio (online or PDF).
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for the layout, design, and production of GEDTS graphic design materials
Creating social media, email, collateral, and brand communications and campaigns designs
Soliciting and incorporating feedback on design products
Understanding and contributing to design ideas and concepts with the GEDTS brand and audience in mind
Preferred skills:
Knowledge and experience in graphic design in either agency, freelance, contract, in-house, etc., or equivalent training and qualifications.
Must be skilled in using a variety of industry-standard software including; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat); Portfolio required for consideration
Know how to follow brand guidelines and meet deadlines
Ability to retouch and manipulate images and illustrations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate ideas and explain the creative design process behind projects, and collaborate with team members
Good attention to detail and time management skills, and ability to work with quick turnaround times
Open to feedback and willing to make changes in designs
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. A wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location influences actual compensation. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $16-$20 . This position is not bonus eligible, and information on benefits offered is here .
