About the position
Responsibilities
• Gather, manipulate, and analyze member claims data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for large claims.
• Perform time-series forecasting and causal inference to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Utilize Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, SAS, SQL, and Python to create comprehensive data analyses and visualizations.
• Develop and implement data engineering and machine learning applications to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable data insights.
• Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing best practices for data collection, storage, and processing.
• Provide technical support and guidance on data analysis and business intelligence tools.
• Communicate complex data insights and technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactively identify potential risks in data management and propose effective solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related.
• 24 months of experience in job offered or related.
• Two (2) years of experience with time-series forecasting.
• Two (2) years of experience with causal inference with health claims.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SAP Business Objects, SAS, SQL, and Python applications related to data engineering or machine learning.
• Experience with data visualization and formula creation.
• Experience with business intelligence or analysis platforms.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification required.
