**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service and Sales Professional at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance. You will learn about our products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects. You will also be responsible for maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe. Additionally, you will work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers by actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance
* Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department
* Handle basics in adjacent departments
* Maintain a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work safely as not to endanger yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers

**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience in a retail or sales environment

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field
* Previous experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or sales environment
* Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment
* Experience with CRM software and other sales tools
