About the Role

As a Remote Customer Solutions Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering best-in-class service to our residential customers. You will be responsible for guiding customers through their challenges and solving problems in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries during the first contact, assisting with payment plans, billing questions, service orders, outage reports, and natural gas calls
  • Educate customers about blithequark processes, policies, regulations, and customer tools to deliver a positive customer experience
  • Adhere to a specific daily schedule, including start and end times, scheduled breaks, and lunches
  • Participate in training sessions and ongoing development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service level goals and provide support during peak periods
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to analyze customer issues and provide effective solutions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service or retail experience is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic math skills
  • A minimum internet speed of at least 7 mbps upload and 20 mbps download
  • Ability to live within 2 hours of one of our four call center locations
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to resolving customer issues
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive and empathetic attitude, with a natural tendency to problem-solve in stressful situations

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Knowledge of energy industry regulations and practices
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
