Middle-Grade Book Cover Designer/Illustrator
Seeking a talented book cover designer/illustrator to create an engaging cover for a middle-grade novel. The story focuses on themes of inclusion and disability awareness, targeting readers aged 8-11.
Please apply a subtle painterly texture to the character artwork (attached) to make it feel less digitally rendered and more like a traditional children’s-book illustration. The goal is to retain the original character design as is including their pose, expressions etc while giving the image a softer, painterly look. I'd like to keep these characters as the central element and have the cover "built" around them.
The finished cover should reflect a warm, painterly style with gentle shading and lighting to subtly highlight the central characters.
