Key Responsibilities

As a virtual assistant at blithequark, your primary focus will be on providing exceptional guest relations and support. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Screening potential guests to ensure a smooth and secure booking process
  • Providing support for guests and resolving issues on Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott platforms
  • Responding to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicating and escalating issues to management via Slack to ensure prompt resolution
  • Achieving 5-star ratings and Superhost Status through exceptional guest service
  • Writing and responding to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction

Company Tasks and Administrative Responsibilities

In addition to guest relations, you will be responsible for various company tasks, including:

  • Reporting maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams
  • Reporting and submitting damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
  • Building, managing, and reporting in-house maintenance labor to ensure efficient operations
  • Assisting with the onboarding of accounting systems and providing working knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Coordinating with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management to ensure seamless partnerships

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to speak clearly on the phone and use a VoIP system to communicate with guests and vendors
  • Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus, with a deep familiarity with leveraging ChatGPT for comprehensive guest messaging
  • Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones with perfect English and grammar
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient issue resolution

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, the following preferred qualifications and experience will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and Marriott platforms
  • Experience with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield
  • Knowledge of business financials and accounting principles
  • Experience in 3rd party vendor relations and tertiary market management
