As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of our brand, communicating with customers via telephone and assisting with hotel, rental car, and flight reservations. Our team is passionate about travel and dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our customers. **The Role** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional customer service * Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure accurate and personalized service * Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency * Helping customers change their travel plans, including modifying or canceling reservations * Providing or confirming customers' travel itinerary, including flight, hotel, and rental car information * Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner * Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues * Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to ensure accurate record-keeping **About You** To be successful as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need: * Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field * Strong geographical knowledge to assist customers with travel planning and navigation * Excellent customer service skills, including strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications * Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion * Demonstrates empathy effectively and is able to work with customers who may be experiencing travel-related issues **Requirements** To be a successful Customer Service Representative, you'll need: * A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications: + Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset **Work Environment and Schedule** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and set your own schedule within our hours of operation (8:00 AM to 1:00 AM ET, seven days per week).
