Job Overview

As a blithequark Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with customer orders, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. You will work in designated retail locations, facilitating the delivery and return of customer orders, and ensuring that our customers have a seamless and enjoyable experience. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about customer service, has an up-for-anything attitude, and is able to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery
• Assist customers with questions they may have and provide timely and effective solutions to their problems
• Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers, ensuring that their issues are resolved efficiently and effectively
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols
• Manage responsibilities for a Locker location, including opening and closing the site, and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed
• Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders
• Receive truck deliveries and ensure that all packages are handled and processed correctly

Physical Requirements

In this role, you will be required to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. You will also be required to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, you may be required to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, and to go up and down stairs (where applicable).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines
• Have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a positive and supportive attitude
• Be able to lift up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours
• Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., with schedules varying week to week
