Job Overview

This is a full-time remote job opportunity available to candidates based in the United States. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary focus will be on processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments
  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues and perform testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
  • Complete projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Interact with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service

Essential Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Basic knowledge of financial services and investment products, with ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Previous experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, or other customer relationship management software
  • Strong technical skills, with ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems
  • Certifications or training in data entry, customer service, or a related field
