We are now seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team, working from the comfort of their own home on a full-time basis, including alternating weekends on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule.

About the Role

This full-time remote position is designed to ensure efficient and accurate service, focusing on managing the prescription needs of injured workers. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in coordinating with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in providing support to clients regarding requirements for claimant medications, answering questions, and adjusting to changing processes and needs of various clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, input, and support claimant profiles in our pharmacy network, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications, providing timely and effective support.
  • Coordinate and liaise with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate assignment of medication benefits, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Support client needs regarding requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data, utilizing your analytical skills to provide insightful information.
  • Manage and update client and claimant information in multiple systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Answer questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies regarding medications, providing clear and concise information.
  • Adjust to changing processes and needs of various clients, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our team.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that enable you to provide exceptional customer service and support. The following are essential requirements for this position:

  • 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and multiple software systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to ask relevant questions, with excellent written grammatical skills and understanding of proper telephone etiquette.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and experience would be highly desirable:

  • Experience in workers' compensation law, providing a deeper understanding of the industry and its regulations.
  • Editing skills, enabling you to review and refine documents and communications with precision and accuracy.
