Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported throughout their shopping experience.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers, creating an environment that is inviting, organized, and easy to navigate.
  • Help in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organize merchandise, and transport merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and ready for customers.
  • Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, taking pride in your work and ensuring that our stores are always presented to the highest standards.
  • Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, providing a seamless and efficient checkout experience for our customers.
  • Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any customer concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating your flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to the success of our team.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
  • Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and working effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating your commitment to the success of our team and your willingness to adapt to the changing needs of our business.
