You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop insights that inform business decisions. Your expertise in database management, data analysis, and data visualization will be essential in helping us to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain databases that support business operations, including data modeling, database schema design, and data migration * Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions * Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions * Perform database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security * Develop and maintain SQL scripts and stored procedures to support business operations * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommend new approaches and tools to improve database management and data analysis **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * 4+ years of experience in database management, data analysis, and data visualization * Strong knowledge of database management systems, including SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL * Experience with data modeling, database schema design, and data migration * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop insights * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders * Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with cloud-based database platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure * Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Microsoft Power BI * Experience with scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python * Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git * Certification in database administration, data analysis, or data visualization **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop insights * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders * Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams * Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and recommend new approaches and tools to improve database management and data analysis * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
