Job Overview

As a Senior Manager, Technical Product Management at blithequark, you will play a critical role in shaping the vision and product roadmap for our flagship suite of VoC products. You will lead cross-functional teams to execute on this vision, driving the development of innovative solutions that obsess over customer experience and translate complex business requirements into actionable insights. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in addressing complex technical challenges, evaluating trade-off decisions, and driving forward-thinking approaches that maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the strategic vision and long-term roadmap for the VoC product portfolio, and lead cross-functional teams to execute against the vision.
  • Work with leaders across science, tech, product/program management to identify and manage new and existing opportunities, initiatives, and processes.
  • Dive deep into technical details, evaluating trade-off decisions and asking meaningful questions of scientists or engineers.
  • Contribute to a team culture of innovation, generating big ideas, solving highly ambiguous problems, and building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  • Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve.
  • Deliver long-lasting foundational systematic solutions that pave the way for effective use of AI/Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Define clear goals and objectives for the business in the planning and execution space while identifying risks and strategizing mitigation plans.
  • Influence senior leaders across blithequark and communicate blithequark's VoC AI/ML vision, strategy, goals, status, and customer impact.

A Day in the Life

A typical day for a Senior Manager, Technical Product Management at blithequark involves balancing strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving. You will work closely with product and technology teams within Customer Service, as well as with senior leaders across the company to drive collaboration and influence them to prioritize projects, meet objectives, and adhere to business plans towards shared objectives. You will oversee key workstreams, including product strategy and delivery, stakeholder updates, monthly roadmap reviews, business reviews, and organizational goal setting.

Essential Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • 5+ years of team management experience.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional software development teams, operations, UX designers, and other product managers.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a high-performance start-up or incubation effort within a larger company.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experience directly managing cross-functional teams.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. We also offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, maternity and parental leave options, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Additionally, we provide equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
