Job Overview

This hybrid position is based at our 221 Venture Way, Lafayette, LA, 70507 location, where you will work in the center 3-4 days a week and remotely from home 1-2 days a week. As a Premier Service Consultant specializing in customer acquisition, sales, service, and retention, you will be on the frontline providing solutions to prospective and existing customers to enhance their service experience, drive satisfaction, and foster loyalty. Your daily interactions will include handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and explaining bills and product features clearly. You will work a flexible 40-hour per week schedule, which may include nights and weekends, and will receive paid training to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer interactions (calls, chats, emails) in a fast-paced environment, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
  • Accurately resolve issues related to service, billing, payments, and collections, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Explain bills and product features clearly, ensuring that customers understand the value of our services and products.
  • Troubleshoot basic problems and seek higher support if needed, ensuring that customers receive the best possible solution to their issues.
  • Build customer confidence and loyalty by resolving issues efficiently and effectively, and by providing personalized support and recommendations.
  • Support various customer inquiries, including technical issues, and provide solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong customer focus, a solid work ethic, and excellent problem-solving skills. You will need to be adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have attention to detail. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide personalized support.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, it would be beneficial to have experience in customer service, sales, or a related field. You will also need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends. If you have experience working in a call center or retail environment, this would be an asset, as would any certifications or training in customer service or sales.
