About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for answering inbound customer calls, problem-solving, and assisting customers with their orders and accounts. You will be working with our Cornerstone Brands, which include Grandin Road, Ballard Designs, and Frontgate. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Offer additional products on each customer interaction to enhance the shopping experience
- Assist customers with questions, concerns, and issues, personalizing the experience for each caller
- Process transactions, including confirming refunds, taking payments, and placing orders
- Analyze account data to resolve customer inquiries and provide solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
What You Bring to the Role
To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable working in a virtual setting, with a set schedule and structured day. Additionally, you should be able to:
- Learn and work with multiple systems and screens while assisting customers
- Navigate different customer styles, peers, and leaders
- Troubleshoot technical issues and partner with IT when needed
- Work a set part-time schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Meet the system requirements for working from home, including a self-provided computer or laptop, headset, and high-speed internet connection
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a virtual setting, with a set schedule and structured day
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a retail or customer-facing environment
- Knowledge of video commerce or e-commerce platforms
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting rate of $15.00 per hour, with additional pay for evening and weekend shifts. To work from home as a Customer Service Representative, you will need to meet the following system requirements:
