Job Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst at blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes. Key Responsibilities

  • Under moderate supervision, plan and execute data analysis projects from initial concept to production, communicating results to a broad range of audiences.
  • Apply statistical analysis procedures to gain insights into key business issues and expectations, utilizing data from various sources.
  • Utilize current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop significant insights and recommendations for management, demonstrating a clear understanding of the business model and available data for analysis.
  • Regularly use data, statistical, and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.
  • Mentor less senior staff, participate in cross-functional projects, and regularly present to management.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analysis is required. Proficiency in analysis software and applications, along with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; numerical analysis; discrete data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting information.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
