Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our fast-paced, innovative AI team. This position involves testing and ensuring the reliability of high-visibility internal applications built primarily in NextJS and NodeJS, with potential AI integrations in Python. You’ll contribute to piloting advanced AI-quality engineering tools and driving scalable, automated testing strategies for applications that support company-wide productivity.

Our client works in the technology industry, delivering intelligent solutions that enhance enterprise efficiency. Their focus is on developing robust internal AI systems and enhancing the user experience through intelligent automation and reliability engineering.

This project involves shaping and validating AI-powered workflows by collaborating closely with development teams to support rigorous QA practices.

Location: Must reside and have work authorization in Latin America.

Availability: Must be available to work with significant overlap with Mountain Standard Time (MST). 

The Ideal Candidate Has: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or QA roles.
• Hands-on experience testing applications built with NodeJS and NextJS.
• Familiarity with Python-based tools and frameworks such as PyTest.
• Strong background in automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, data handling, and integration testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1 preferred, strong B2 may be considered).

Key Responsibilities: 

• Identify and pilot AI-enhanced quality engineering tools for internal application testing.
• Design and execute performance, scalability, and reliability testing strategies.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts for workflows, APIs, and database operations.
• Collaborate with AI engineers on testing AI/ML components including Python-based implementations.
• Align QA frameworks with evolving AI development practices.
• Report detailed test outcomes with actionable recommendations.
• Support CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient release processes.
• Drive innovation in quality engineering by integrating advanced tools and techniques.
