As a Member Service Representative, you will provide exceptional telephone assistance to Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your primary goal will be to deliver an outstanding experience to our callers every time, ensuring that their needs are met with empathy, understanding, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls from members and providers, responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs.
• Provide accurate and timely information, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize high-speed internet connectivity via an ethernet cable (Wi-Fi not permitted) to access our systems and tools.
• Participate in comprehensive training programs, including an initial six-week training schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday), to ensure your success in this role.
• Work from the comfort of your own home, with the requirement to commute to our Richmond, VA office in the event of prolonged technical issues.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as the ability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and experience working remotely in a call center setting, particularly with Medicaid and Medicare, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $27.90 per hour.
