Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our customer-centric approach, and we're looking for like-minded individuals to join our team. **The Role** As an Online Chat Support Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Expressing genuine empathy and concern for your customers' issues and addressing them as if they were your own * Answering, evaluating, and prioritizing requests from customers having questions or experiencing problems with services or products * Identifying high-risk customer situations and escalating them appropriately without hesitation * Keeping up with multiple chats at a time * Accurately documenting all required information and chat details in the ticketing system * Responding to and resolving open issues in an appropriate time frame * Identifying trends related to systems, platforms, and/or customers and escalating them appropriately to management * Multi-tasking using multiple systems * Skillfully changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure * Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times * Typing 30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above consistently * Possessing strong messaging communication skills, active listening abilities, and a great understanding of text and chat acronyms * Working independently and utilizing resources to resolve customer issues * Having excellent grammar, but also knowing when to use the lingo * Previous work-from-home experience is preferred * Understanding of contact center support metrics and ability to implement actions for improvement **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or equivalent * Strong written communication skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in customer support or a related field * Experience working in a contact center or call center environment * Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software * Familiarity with chat and messaging platforms * Experience with data entry and ticketing systems **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Strong typing skills (30 wpm with 90% accuracy or above) * Ability to type accurately and efficiently * Familiarity with text and chat acronyms * Excellent grammar and spelling skills * Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain productivity **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
