We are a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives, and we invite you to join us on this journey. **Key Responsibilities** As a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include: * Answering incoming calls professionally, accurately, timely, and courteously, providing exceptional support to our members nationwide * Determining the nature of calls and logging information in the Communication Log to ensure seamless communication and follow-up * Accessing member information using proprietary systems to assist callers and provide comprehensive information about their membership * Forwarding inquiries requiring further research to the appropriate department, ensuring that our members receive timely and accurate responses * Transferring calls to specialized queues for complex issues, such as claims and authorizations, to ensure that our members receive the support they need * Utilizing available resources to provide timely responses, managing time effectively to ensure calls are answered promptly and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner * Meeting or exceeding minimum key job accountabilities for the Customer Service Representative role, including documenting all calls appropriately and attending weekly staff meetings to discuss issues and promote teamwork * Responding to requests from internal and external customers as needed, providing exceptional support and service to our members and stakeholders **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent * A minimum of one year of customer service experience, with inbound call center experience preferred * Basic computer skills, including proficiency in proprietary systems and software * Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with members, colleagues, and stakeholders * A stable internet connection, with a minimum download speed of 50 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps, to support video meetings and remote work **Compensation and Benefits** As a full-time regular employee at blithequark, you can expect: * A competitive hourly rate of up to $15.00 per hour * A comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance * The opportunity to work from home, with remote training and company-provided technology to support your success * A dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for career growth and professional development **Schedule and Work Environment** As a Remote Medical Customer Service Representative, you will work a standard 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with no weekends.
