Responsibilities include ensuring passenger safety, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the aircraft cabin. ### Responsibilities: – Conduct pre-flight cabin checks and receive updated information on the flight. – Demonstrate emergency equipment and safety procedures. – Greet passengers, assist with seating, and help with luggage stowage. – Serve meals and refreshments and sell duty-free goods. – Attend to passengers’ needs, particularly those with special needs. – Reassure passengers during the flight, such as when the aircraft experiences turbulence. – Administer first aid where necessary. – Ensure that all emergency equipment is in working order throughout the flight and that all necessary supplies are on board. – Ensure the aircraft cabin is clean and tidy at the end of the flight. – Complete paperwork, including writing a flight report. ### Educational Qualifications: – High school diploma or equivalent; further education is advantageous. ### Experience: – Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not required. ### Key Requirements: – Minimum age of 18. – Eligibility to work in the U.S. – Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. – Physical fitness, and the ability to pass a medical examination. – Able to conform to uniform standards without any visible tattoos or piercings. – Willingness to relocate and flexibility to work unsociable hours. – Strong interpersonal and communication skills. ### Benefits: – Joining the United Airlines team comes with several perks besides the travel benefits.
