As a key member of our management team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and employees. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for: * Assisting the store manager and assistant managers in managing all phases of store operations, including cash register operations and customer service * Supervising employees and acting as manager on duty in the absence of the store manager and assistant managers * Participating in the implementation of plans to meet daily sales goals and increase average sale per transaction and sales per square foot * Ensuring that all employees provide friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction * Training Sales Associates in register operations and customer service * Supporting the mission of blithequark by exhibiting a willingness to supervise persons with barriers to employment * Monitoring cashier supplies and maintaining register areas in a clean and orderly manner * Verifying quantity, quality, and dollar value of merchandise received in the store * Determining the value and price of merchandise according to company pricing guidelines * Completing all reports and documents on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis * Assisting in the control of inventory and loss of merchandise due to errors, internal shrinkage, and shoplifting * Maintaining security of all cash and store receipts * Attending all in-service training sessions, including First Aid/CPR training as scheduled * Performing all basic responsibilities common to all blithequark store management positions **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages * One year cashier experience, supervising experience helpful * Retail experience and visual merchandising skills a plus * Must have insured vehicle for store-related travel * Must have home or cell phone * Must be 21 years of age * Must have a valid state resident driver's license, with a good driving record * Must be eligible for positive outcome on required resident state criminal conviction background check * Must maintain compliance with blithequark's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy **Preferred Qualifications** * Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field * Experience in visual merchandising and store design * Knowledge of inventory management and control systems * Certification in First Aid and CPR **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks * Strong leadership and supervisory skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong customer service skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As an Experienced Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to: * Develop your leadership and supervisory skills through training and mentorship * Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and conferences * Collaborate with other members of the management team to drive business results and improve customer satisfaction * Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs that support the mission of blithequark * Enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off **Work Environment and Company Culture** blithequark is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
