Job Overview
The Trip Assignment Specialist plays a vital role in the success of our operations, responsible for assigning trips to dispatchers and Care Partners on a nightly basis. This position requires a unique blend of technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service abilities. As a Trip Assignment Specialist at blithequark, you will be the backbone of our evening operations, ensuring that our members receive the best possible service and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign approximately 700-900 trips to dispatchers in the Health-E Rides system every night, utilizing your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure seamless execution.
- Build daily schedules for dispatchers, taking into account breaks, lunches, and other essential considerations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Stack trips to contracted Care Partners, fostering strong relationships and ensuring that our members receive the highest level of care and service.
- Answer inbound calls from members during evening hours, providing exceptional customer service and support to address their needs and concerns.
- Coordinate evening trips as they come in, utilizing your problem-solving skills and expertise to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Assist with Care Partner-related administrative tasks, such as payment processing, to ensure that our partners are supported and empowered to deliver exceptional service.
- Assist with Level 1 administrative tickets in Zendesk, providing timely and effective resolutions to member inquiries and concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching and coordinating transportation, preferably in a non-emergency medical transportation setting.
- Healthcare experience is highly preferred, although not required, as it will enable you to understand the unique needs and challenges of our members.
- Consistently reliable and able to work evening shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide empathetic and supportive service to our members.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in the Health-E Rides system and Zendesk.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
