Night Warehouse Selector

<strong>Description<br><br></strong><strong>Looking for Experienced Night Selectors!!!<br><br></strong><strong>Overtime Available<br><br></strong><strong>Overview<br><br></strong>Mr. Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Texas. With deliveries 365-days a year, 7-days a week and multiple runs per day, Mr. Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr. Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores and retail outlets.<br><br><strong>Summary<br><br></strong>Mr. Greens is looking for highly motivated and dedicated Selectors that can work individually selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment. You will then fit the items on a pallet plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets to shipping dock and in some cases, load them onto a trailer to delivery to customers. All employees are expected to make safety their top priority.<br><br><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment</li><li>Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments</li><li>Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift</li><li>Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside warehouse</li><li>Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets</li><li>Verify quantity of the products</li><li>Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage</li><li>Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets</li><li>Maintaining a food-safe environment</li><li>Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Required to be punctual.</li><li>Forklift / Rider Pallet Jack - 1 year</li><li>Must pass a Drug Test</li><li>Available to work on weekends<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Demands/ Work Environment<br><br></strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
