As a data scientist at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced full stack data scientist to lead the development and implementation of advanced forecasting algorithms and machine learning models that drive business growth and optimize retail operations. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to generate key insights, identifying business opportunities, and developing data-driven solutions to drive business outcomes. Your expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization will enable you to transform business processes, automate manual tasks, and drive business growth through data-driven decision making. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement advanced forecasting algorithms and machine learning models to drive business growth and optimize retail operations * Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to generate key insights and identify business opportunities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes * Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support business intelligence and analytics * Design and implement data quality control processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity * Develop and maintain machine learning models, including model selection, training, and deployment * Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate machine learning models into production environments * Develop and maintain data science workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation * Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including business leaders and technical teams * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science **Requirements** * Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field * At least 7 years of experience as a data scientist or machine learning engineer, with a proven track record of developing and implementing advanced machine learning models and statistical models * Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization, including experience with Python, SQL, R, SAS, and other data science tools * Experience with data mining, text mining, and Spark, including Hive and Hadoop * Strong understanding of data quality control processes and data integrity * Experience with data science workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation * Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision * Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS and Google Cloud * Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines * Experience with data governance and data security, including data encryption and access control * Experience with data storytelling and data visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on high-impact projects and contribute to the company's mission * Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced data scientists and engineers * Professional development and growth opportunities, including training and mentorship programs * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools, including cloud-based data platforms and machine learning frameworks **How to Apply** If you are a highly skilled data scientist with a passion for retail operations and a knack for developing innovative solutions using mathematical and statistical principles, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
