Job Overview

The Senior Sourcing Specialist will play a vital role in our organization, working closely with business stakeholders to make informed sourcing decisions and maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives, and building relationships with key executives and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Associate with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions and maximize the value of our professional services spend
• Develop and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders
• Evaluate suppliers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
• Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with blithequark's policies and procedures
• Analyze bids based on overall cost and delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value
• Prepare and execute clear, fact-based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology
• Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration
• Understand and support the development and execution of performance management programs with suppliers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
• Communicate and document the status of any significant external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
• Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external suppliers and/or pricing
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of services category sourcing
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
• Strong strategic agility
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Internal customer focus
• Ability/preference to work in various environments
• Ability to handle ambiguity
• Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions
• Proven proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
• Established experience working with the legal department on matters related to boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
