Our Pursuit and Recommendations Examination group is at the forefront of this effort, using data science and machine learning to inform our product suggestions and drive business growth. **Job Summary** As a Senior Data Science Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for leading the analysis and interpretation of large datasets to inform our product suggestions and drive business decisions. You will work closely with a high-performing team of designers, AI engineers, and product managers to design, develop, and deploy new data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be critical in identifying areas for improvement, developing new testing and analysis techniques, and driving business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** * Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities * Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestions algorithms * Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve * Develop new tools and instruments that enable us to be more efficient and effective * Work closely and build strong relationships with our product, design, and AI partners * Communicate key findings and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization **What You'll Need** * 2+ years of professional experience in a scientific role (including any graduate education) * Experience with data science and machine learning in e-commerce organizations is highly desirable * In-depth experience with SQL (including total capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flask, etc.) * In-depth experience with Python and Python libraries (Jupyter notebooks, libraries, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.) * Experience with experimental design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business decisions, highly desirable * Experience with AI algorithms/techniques (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting, highly desirable * Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset * Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with partners * Demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment * Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical capabilities, along with critical thinking skills **What We Offer** * Competitive salary of $27/hour * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Opportunities to work with a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and product managers * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance **Help for People with Disabilities** blithequark is committed to providing equal opportunities to all people, including those with disabilities.
