Remote Electrical Estimator at Insight Global
Insight Global is looking to hire a team of Remote Electrical Estimators, to our client's growing electric utility team! As an Estimator, you will create utility project estimates, act as an extension of our client’s team and provide best-in-class service. As an Estimator, you will be involved with consulting on select projects where your expertise and guidance is requested as well as providing assistance to the Project Management Team as requested.Required Skills, Experience And Background:Solid understanding of engineering design / drawing packages.Solid understanding of substation construction tasks involved with Project Execution.Solid financial acumen. High school or GED requiredBS degree in engineering or similar technical BS degree is advantageous3-15 years of estimating experience within the electric utility industry is required specifically related to Substation and Transmission estimating or engineering.This is a good opportunity for Substation and Transmission Engineers who are looking to pivot and apply their technical skills in a estimating role.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is highly preferredMicrosoft Office with strong excel skills (required)Compensation:$100,000 to $140,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
