Digital Content Creator/Editor

We are looking for a hands-on Content Creator/Editor who understands how to capture, edit, and package engaging short-form content. This role focuses on storytelling, editing for attention, and producing visually appealing, high-impact content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. You’ll collaborate with the team to conceptualize content ideas, film when needed, and turn raw footage into scroll-stopping edits. Locations: Hybrid | Remote with in person meetings in Joliet and Naperville Responsibilities • Capture and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts). • Plan and contribute ideas for content themes, scripts, and storylines. • Edit video using pacing, hooks, captions, sound sync, and transitions.. • Create graphic elements (thumbnails, captions, story slides). • Collaborate on weekly content calendars and posting schedules. • Track trends and incorporate platform best practices. • Organize media files and maintain efficient workflow. Qualifications • Experience creating/editing social media content (portfolio encouraged). • Proficient with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut Desktop, or Davinci Resolve • Strong understanding of pacing and storytelling for short-form. • Experience and general knowledge with iPhone cameras and other cameras and related equipment • Design skills in Canva/Photoshop or similar are a plus • At least 16 years of age or older Other notes: As an internship/part time position, we are seeking someone with relevant experience but still willing to learn and develop their skills further. This job is focused on editing already captured footage but you will be more than welcome to engage in the filming side of things and any other aspects of the content creation process you may be interested in.
