As a temporary full-time Data Entry Clerk, you'll be part of a talented team that's passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry. **Job Summary** We're looking for a highly skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Aiea, HI. As a key member of our healthcare administration team, you'll be responsible for entering patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into our Information System. With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes. **Key Responsibilities** * Enter patient demographic and insurance billing information from documents into our Information System in accordance with departmental procedures, standards, and operational needs. * Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity, meeting or exceeding established keystroke targets (9,000 keystrokes per hour). * Work in a fast-paced and high-volume healthcare administration environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. * Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow. * Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and system updates. * Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness. **Essential Qualifications** * At least 6 months of clerical and/or data entry experience, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a healthcare administration or data entry role, with knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems. * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS). * Certification in medical coding or data entry, such as CPC or CCA. * Experience with data entry software, such as Epic or Cerner. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high levels of productivity. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
