The HR Technology Analyst is an intermediate position within the HR Technology team structure. The primary focus of this position is the support the maintenance of the primary human resource information systems (Workday) in addition to other systems supported by the HR Technology function. This position serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas (talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development, compensation, benefits, etc)., and performs system configuration or correction tasks as needed, assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, tests system enhancements and changes, writes reports and performs data flow analysis for process improvement opportunities. The HR Technology analyst also supports HR Technology upgrades, patches, release testing and other technical projects and systems, as assigned. This position has been segmented as Remote Anywhere meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories. Responsibilities: • Act as the liaison between the assigned internal/external client groups(s) (i.e. Business Leaders, HR Leadership, Field HR and Payroll Representatives, Functional Leaders, Third Party Vendors, etc.) and IT technical Team. • Translate business needs into functional specifications and assist in documenting technical requirements to implement solutions to support activities related to Workday functionality. • Function at a technical level and think strategically in most phases of system analysis and needs while considering the business implications of the application and technology to current and future business environment. • Provide input and support for the Workday platform and enable support for other HR Technology stack applications as needed. • Implement and support strategic processes that ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR Data. • Research new techniques in the development of systems and maintain knowledge of current trends and strategies in technology fields relating to Workday and other applications in the HR Technology stack. • Proactively collaborate with and support other HR Operations functions including HR Shared Services, Payroll, Analytics and PMO while providing operational support as well as support for projects prioritized by the PMO / Governance process. • Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology; document specifications, develop / configure and implement new or redesigned systems, create, or modify reports, and build or maintain procedures for HR application users to ensure efficient business processes and continuous improvement. • Work on problems of various scopes where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors; exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; may recommend changes to existing procedures and practices based on analysis of Workday and other downstream applications and data. • Review and prioritize system maintenance (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) and create system enhancement requests, ensure security of HR information through established security protocol, participate in or lead project teams for M&A integrations, system integrations, upgrades, modifications, enhancements, solution optimization, and participate in issue tracking and resolution for all HR systems. • Resolve HR application issues / act as “troubleshooter” for Human Resources. Work with IT, Payroll, Benefits, Finance and other stakeholder groups in configuring required reporting or integrations with internal and external customers and / or their applications. • Oversee HR Applications & structures (Organizations/Locations/Jobs), files and interface requirements. • Ensure accuracy of data through data audits and validation methods to identify discrepancies and missing data. • Develop data integrity protocols between HR Technology and downstream applications. • Develop ad-hoc Workday reports to support HR activities as required. • Develop, implement, and deliver user training as required. • Perform various special duties as assigned. Education/Training: • Bachelor's degree in IT systems or related field, or equivalent experience. • Related Experience/Requirements: • Experience with enterprise Human Capital Management tools, including performance management/goal-setting tools, learning management systems, applicant tracking, compensation planning tools, benefits management applications, case management tools, and other related HR system(s) of record). Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • 2 years of Workday experience required Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
