About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Local Truck Driver to join our team in Liverpool, NY. As a dedicated driver, you will be responsible for operating a company-owned vehicle, running approximately 600 miles per day, and performing drop and hook work for our dedicated customers. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of customers, building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service. Our drivers are home every night, with a predictable schedule that allows for a great work-life balance.

A typical day for our drivers involves arriving at our terminal in Liverpool, NY, and embarking on their daily route. With a dedicated truck and no slip seating, you will have the comfort and familiarity of driving the same vehicle every day. Our fleet consists of 2014 or newer Freightliners and Western Stars, ensuring that you have a safe and reliable vehicle to operate.

  • $1,200 - $1,500 total weekly average pay
  • 3,000 - 3,250 average miles per week
  • Dedicated, Line Haul
  • Day shift
  • No Driver Load/Unload

Home Time

  • 5 days on, 2 days off
  • Home every weekend

Core Responsibilities

As a Local Truck Driver at blithequark, your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
  • Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules
  • Submitting customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
  • Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations

Hiring Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Class A license without any of the following restrictions: (E) No Manual, (L,Z) Air Brakes, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
  • 12 months Tractor Trailer experience
