About the Role

As a Remote Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be working from the comfort of your own home, providing timely and effective support to our customers via phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every interaction is a positive one. Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a fair and courteous manner, escalating issues when necessary
  • Provide accurate and detailed information about blithequark's products and services, making recommendations when applicable
  • Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with blithequark's policies and procedures
  • Utilize blithequark's customer relationship management (CRM) system to document customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and marketing, to stay up-to-date on new products and services, and to provide feedback on customer trends and preferences
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance customer service skills and knowledge of blithequark's products and services

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate:

  • Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Knowledge of blithequark's products and services, or similar industry experience
  • Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers who speak languages other than English
  • Experience working with CRM software, such as Salesforce or Zendesk
  • Certification in customer service, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation
