The Role As a Freelance Part-time Digital Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. You'll work closely with various teams to coordinate key projects, manage deadlines, and guarantee that all project requirements are met. Key Responsibilities • Develop project scopes and objectives: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables. • Ensure resource allocation: Coordinate with teams to allocate resources, manage budgets, and ensure that project requirements are met. • Manage project schedules and work plans: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation plans. • Monitor and control project changes: Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed. • Measure project performance: Use industry-standard tools and techniques to measure project performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. • Client and stakeholder management: Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensure that their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle. • Project updates and reporting: Provide regular project updates to various departments, and report on strategy, adjustments, and progress. • Risk management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize their impact on the project. • Drive project completion: Solve problems, overcome obstacles, and drive project completion to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. • Maintain comprehensive project documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans. • Sprint and epic management: Manage and track progress on sprints and epics, and contribute to task estimation and sprint retrospectives. Requirements • Educational background: A great educational background in a relevant field, such as business, management, or technology. • Project management experience: Proven working experience as a project manager in the information technology sector, with a solid technical background and understanding of software development and web technologies. • Project management software tools: Strong familiarity with project management software tools, including Jira, and industry-standard methodologies and best practices. • Communication skills: Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Organizational skills: Solid organizational skills, including diligence, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail. • Microsoft Office: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Collaboration and leadership: Ability to collaborate with organizational leaders, and high frequency of communication with stakeholders. • Prompt response time: Prompt response time and high availability to ensure that project requirements are met.
